IS 2.3 End User Training

This 1 day course covers instructions for the instrument, maintenance, data analysis and data collection software, and troubleshooting suggestions. The template building software will also be covered. Training is available at Luminex in Austin or at the customer site with additional expenses.

Luminex xPONENT Basic Training Course

This 1 day course covers instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine use. Software instruction will include building protocols, running batches, data analysis and data collection using the xPONENT software package. An introduction to magnetic microsphere calibration and protocol modifications. Fundamental Assay Techniques - Protein

This 1.5 day course covers skills for developing application-specific immunoassays on the Luminex system, with minimal assistance. In-house assays that use a specific platform, format, or bead product will be used for this course. This course is intended for assay developers and will include a protein coupling as well as demonstrations of protein assays. Training is available at Luminex in Austin or at the customer site with additional expenses.

Fundamental Assay Techniques – Nucleic Acid

This 2 day course covers skills for developing application-specific nucleic acid assays on the Luminex system, with minimal assistance. In-house assays that use a specific platform, format, or bead product will be used for this course. FlexMAP microspheres will also be covered in comparison to carboxylated microspheres. The learner will gain the knowledge of which application will best suite them. This course is intended for assay developers and will include a nucleic acid coupling as well as demonstrations of hybridization assays. Training is available at Luminex in Austin or at the customer site with additional expenses.

This 1 day course covers the topics including software and hardware troubleshooting, verification procedures, available support material and troubleshooting the Luminex system. NOTE: This course does not qualify the attendee as a Field Service Engineer certified.
